As Lorien mentioned, I was in Barcelona and Rome for work, for about a week and a half total. I had hoped to blog from the road. But the trip ended up involving a lot more work than I had imagined, and I wanted to make the most of my precious little spare time, as well as get away from my laptop for a bit.
I'm still a bit tired and jet lagged (just got in last night), so I'll keep it brief for now. Here are a couple of pics. The first is of me in Barcelona atop some Gaudi apartment building, with the Sagrada Familia (crazy Gaudi church still under construction after more than 100 years) in the background. The second is a view of St. Peter's Square and St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City at twilight.More pictures will be coming in the near future.
